Refund and Returns Policy

At National Vehicle Plant Driver Training (NVPDT), we aim to deliver high-quality training and professional services. We understand that situations may arise where clients need to cancel or reschedule. This policy outlines the terms for cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling.

By enrolling in our training programs or engaging our services, you agree to the following Refund and Returns Policy.

1. Course Cancellations by Participants

If you need to cancel your enrollment in a training course, the following applies:

  • More than 7 Days Before Course Start Date
    • You are eligible for a full refund or may choose to reschedule to another available date (subject to availability).
  • Between 3 – 7 Days Before Course Start Date
    • You are eligible for a 50% refund or may reschedule to another date without additional charges.
  • Less than 3 Days Before Course Start Date / No Show
    • No refund will be issued. Rescheduling is not permitted unless under exceptional circumstances (subject to management approval).

2. Cancellations by NVPDT

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., insufficient participant numbers, trainer availability, health and safety concerns, or extreme weather conditions).
  • In such cases, participants will be offered either:
    • A full refund, or
    • An option to reschedule to a future date.

NVPDT is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants (e.g., travel or accommodation expenses) due to course cancellation.

3. Rescheduling Requests

  • Requests to reschedule must be made in writing via email at least 3 days prior to the course start date.
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability, and NVPDT will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests.

4. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 14 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
  • Refunds will be made via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

5. Non-Refundable Items & Circumstances

The following items and services are non-refundable:

  • Courses partially attended or not attended at all without prior notification.
  • Participant failure to complete required assessments leading to non-certification.
  • Services already delivered (e.g., audits, risk assessments).
  • Administrative fees (if any) communicated during the enrollment process.

6. Transfers and Substitutions

  • Participant substitutions may be made at any time before the course starts, provided the replacement meets all eligibility requirements.
  • Written notice must be given at least 24 hours before the start of the course.

7. Refunds for Professional Services

For non-training services (such as site audits, risk evaluations, or safety assessments):

  • Once the service has been delivered, no refunds will be issued.
  • If you cancel a booked service more than 7 days before the agreed service date, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations within 7 days of the service date may incur up to a 50% cancellation fee.
